The Hanwha Techwin Epic integration enables a hospital to remotely monitor patients from an Epic video sitter platform called ECAL. The integrated system enables Hanwha cameras which have been installed in a patient room. Compatible models include an in-ceiling pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera. This type of specialized camera will enable hospital staff to remotely observe patients and use the PTZ control to monitor patient conditions or supervise equipment in the room.
