The expander board has two Wiegand reader inputs, six digital inputs, four solid state dry contact relays, and two integrated lock power outputs. Up to three can be added to ACS‑2DR starter kits for a total capacity of eight doors, and one can be added to ACS‑ELV elevator starter kits needing to control two elevator cabs.
The AC‑2DE uses RS‑485 for communication, and can be connected to the master controller using an AC‑STRIP or standard RS‑485 wiring.
This expander board supports advanced functions such as built‑in ADA opener sequencing, key‑switch level alarm integration, mantrap or interlock, triple swipe actions, user specific actions, and local or remote lockdown.
