S50CKIT Linear Ceiling Speaker Kit

The Model S50CKIT Ceiling Speaker Kit contains a pair of Model S50C 8-ohm, 50-watt, 2-way in-ceiling speakers and a Model IM1D Stereo Volume Control. Each speaker has a 6-1/2 inch woofer with rubber surround, a 1-inch swivel tweeter, and a white metal grille.

The speakers mount using a cam-lock system. The cam-lock tabs swing out behind the speaker and tighten down to secure the speaker to the mounting surface. No mounting ring is required for these speakers.

The speaker frequency response is 50 Hz to 20 kHz. The swivel tweeter permits pointing the tweeter toward the listening area to pinpoint the high frequency sound. The metal grille can be painted if necessary.

The Model IM1D Stereo Volume Control with Decora Wall Plate (White) is an impedance matching volume control that mounts in a single-gang J-box and includes a Decora style white wall plate. Impedance matching provides the system's amplifier with a constant 8-ohm load regardless of the volume control setting.
