Four Door Controller

ProdataKey’s four-door controller, the Red 4, comes equipped with an onboard power supply and a fully supervised power circuit that monitors battery voltage, outputs, inputs, and overall controller health. Each Red 4 features built-in Ethernet connectivity and self-discovery features, alongside OSDP compatibility. This allows for simple IP configuration and functionality.

Additional plug-and-play connection options are available by simply purchasing a Red WiMAC wireless or PoE++ Module Kit. The Red 4 is equipped with OSDP functionality, an onboard power supply, and a fully-supervised power circuit that monitors input, output, battery voltage, and overall controller health.

Requirements

• Power - 12V-24V DC Input, 12 VDC 5A 60 watt class 2 wall-wart power supply (Input supply to the board), Powers readers and other door hardware directly from the bus. Operating Amperage: 35mA (Continuous amperage draw when idle), Power delivery to the peripheral is shared among all ports. Total output to peripherals is 4 AMPs at 12V when powered with the included 5 AMP wall adapter. *12V 8ah backup battery not included but is required to comply with UL 294.
• Note - for proper operation, use the provided power supply. When not using the provided power supply, PDK recommends using a regulated power supply that outputs no greater than 24 volts as measured with a multimeter.
