Eight Door Controller

The Red 8 from ProdataKey is a powerful eight-door controller, featuring built-in Ethernet connectivity and self-discovery for simplified install and configuration. With OSDP functionality, a built-in power supply, and advanced power monitoring, the Red 8 ensures a reliable and secure access control performance.

Pdk’s Red 8 controller includes built-in Ethernet connectivity and self-discovery, simplifying IP configuration and functionality. Additional plug-and-play connection options are available by simply purchasing a Red WiMAC wireless or PoE++ Module Kit. The Red 8 is equipped with OSDP or Wiegand functionality, a built-in Altronix power supply, and a fully-supervised power circuit that monitors input, output, battery voltage, and overall controller health.

Requirements

• Power - 12 VDC, Power readers and other door hardware using the built-in bus. 10A concurrent max on the bus Operating Amperage: 35mA per board (Continuous amperage draw when idle), *12 ah backup battery not included but is required to comply with UL 294.
• Note - for proper operation, use the provided power supply. When not using the provided power supply, PDK recommends using a regulated power supply that outputs no greater than 24 volts as measured with a multimeter.
