QUAD PIR WITH FUZZY LOGIC SIGNAL PROCESSING

Quad elements coupaled with “Fuzzy logic” signal processing (discriminating temperature differential information and object size) provide high “catchability”. The series offers several unique features that make this sensor a desirable choice for high security applications.

HIGH PERFORMANCE

Dual twin element, optical unit and signal processing circuitry enable high density protection area. Ceiling/wall mountable.

SLIGHT MOTION DETECTION

The unit can be adjusted from quad element sensing to twin element sensing, which doubles the number of sensitive zone, suited for situations where close range detection is desirable. (Highest sensitivity setting)

SELF-TEST FUNCTION

The unit performs a self-checkup of alarm contact whenever an alarm is indicated. The alarm LED flashes if the contact is short-circuited, or damaged by induced lightening, etc.

BUILT-IN ALARM MEMORY

Memory LED indicates which sensor triggered an alarm during armed condition when two or more sensors are connected on the same line.

TROUBLE ALARM

The trouble found out is notified by continuous alarm output and lighting of alarm LED.
Unit trouble :
When inner circuit / wiring is damaged or broken.
Low voltage :
When the supply voltage drops down to approx. 8.5V DC.
Positioning :
When the sensor head fails to return automatically after
adjustment is completed.
