FW-RM1 NAPCO Reversing Relay Module

The FW-RM1 reversing module is intended for use with the model FW-2S 2-wire detector equipped with a built-in sounder. The FWRM1 is designed to allow all detectors in the same loop to sound when one of the detectors trips into alarm, and to synchronize their audible outputs. Multiple FW-RM1 modules can be used on a system (one per Fire zone). If one zone initiates an alarm, the sounders on both circuits will activate (providing FW-RM1's are used on both circuits). The FW-RM1 also permits the silencing of the detector sounders from the alarm control panel. The FW-RM1 may be used with a bell output circuit that provides coded output for fire and continuous output for burglary. Smoke detectors will only sound from the result of a fire, and not from a burglary alarm. The detectors will provide a synchronized, coded output powered by the "Bell" or "AUX" outputs, depending on jumper selection (see wiring diagram). Notice: This manual shall be left with the owner/user of the equipment. The smoke detectors are not intended to replace the main fire alarm sounding device.
